What a wee part of a person's life are his acts and his words! His real life is led in his head, and is known to none but himself. All day long, the mill of his brain is grinding, and his thoughts, not those of other things, are his history. These are his life, and they are not written. Everyday would make a whole book of 80,000 words—365 books a year. Biographies are but the clothes and buttons of the man—the biography of the man himself cannot be written. -Mark Twain

What A few authors have to say
"From the moment we handed in the first draft of our manuscript, I was impressed by Andrew's comments and feedback. His thought provoking and sometimes provocative questions caused us to delve deeper into some of the ideas and concepts addressed in the book, undoubtedly making for a better read. It was both challenging and incredibly insightful how invested he was in the message and in me as an author. His encouragement and engagement in this project was invaluable and I look forward to working with him again." —Brian Houston, Founder and Global Senior Pastor, Hillsong Church
"An author needs more than an editor—they need someone to encourage them when they hit writer’s block, someone to challenge them on the third edit. That’s what I found working with Andrew. He knew when to encourage, when to challenge. And his upbeat attitude alleviated the normal stress every author feels trying to hit a deadline. At the end of the day, I want an editor that cares about me and believes in the book I’m writing—that’s Andrew to a T."—Mark Batterson, New York Times best-selling author of The Circle Maker and Chase the Lion, Lead Pastor of National Community Church
"It's rare to have an editor who cares as deeply about your message as you do- Andrew Stoddard is that kind of advocate and editor. His singular intention is to serve you and your message. His commitment to protecting your unique voice and to elevating the quality of your work is both inspiring and compelling. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work with him on this significant project."—Erwin Raphael McManus, Lead Pastor and Founder, Mosaic Church & author of The Last Arrow
“As a first time author, my biggest fear was that my editor and the team wouldn’t like the content I sent them. As a matter of fact, once I sent off my original draft, I prayed that it would be received well! It was. Andrew Stoddard has been a gift to me in the process of writing my first leadership book. From our first breakfast meeting, through the entire editorial process, he’s become a trusted support and voice in this project. He has pushed this content further than most would to make it the best version possible. So much so that I’m going to have a hard time ever writing another book if he’s not involved! I’m so thankful that I was handed over to such capable hands for this book!" –Tyler Reagin, President of Catalyst and author of The Life-Giving Leader
"Andrew is consistently encouraging and optimistic in the creative process. His insights and feedback make it apparent that he cares about excellence in publishing, but also deeply about his authors. Working with him was a refreshing experience." —Steven Furtick, Pastor, Elevation Church & New York Times Best-Selling Author
"Andrew has been an absolute gift to me. He is one of those brilliant individuals who blends both a powerful expertise in his craft and a tender heart towards coaching a writer. What started off as a typical working relationship quickly grew to one of my most cherished friendships. I am deeply grateful to have had him as my editor and now as a dear friend." —Mike Foster, founder and author of People of the Second Chance
"Andrew brings excitement, encouragement, and suggestion to book projects, and he discovers the big idea of the project so that he sees how it all works. He asked me questions I needed to hear, he made suggestions that made my work better, and I look forward to working with Andrew in the future." —Scot McKnight, Julius R. Mantey Professor in New Testament, Northern Seminary; and author of more than 50 books including The Heaven Promise
"Within seconds of first speaking with Andrew, I felt like a friend. Immediately put at complete ease. His kindness and passion for his work is what sealed the deal. Throughout the process of writing, his depth as a person and writer took my words to a place they wouldn’t have arrived without him. Humbled to work alongside of him." —Adam Weber, Pastor at Embrace Church & author of Talking With God
“Andrew pulls ideas from one’s soul, shepherding, crafting, exhorting and encouraging along the way. Andrew is committed to mission, to vision, to the creation of dreams. His tools are concepts, paragraphs, and story but his calling is deeper and larger than the books we write. Andrew is an ideal fellow sojourner for any adventure in words."—Stephan Bauman, Author of Break Open the Sky
